Hartley Well Drilling began serving New Hampshire and Maine as a complete water well and pump company in 1972 and our team has over 100 years of combined well drilling, pump installation, geothermal heating/cooling and water filtering & softening experience. Though much has changed over the past 50 years, we’re still committed to providing customers with water for life.

Hartley Well Drilling President John Hartley has over 50 years of experience, diving into well drilling alongside his dad in 1972. Assisting John is a seasoned team boasting over 75 years of combined well drilling, pump installation, geothermal heating/cooling and water filtering & softening experience. Since our founding, we’ve consistently delivered quality diagnoses and recommendations with a view toward lasting customer relationships knowing that “a good name is to be chosen above glorious riches." In fact, the fourth generation of Hartley well drillers is now joining our crew with years of reliable service to come.
Hartley Well Drilling serves the Mount Washington Valley and Lakes Region of New Hampshire as well as much of Western Maine. You’ve likely passed our shop heading north to Conway or south toward Manchester.
